Media Menu: Creighton vs. Northern Iowa

It is Senior Day for Creighton’s Kaleb Korver, Darryl Ashford, Wayne Runnels, Casey Harriman, and Kenny Lawson. All five of these players have had their ups and downs during their career in the white and the blue.  As the 2010-11 regular season comes to an end, what appears to be their final home game won’t be a battle for a conference crown.

In fact it is just a preview for Arch Madness in St. Louis, as these two teams will meet again next Friday afternoon in the MVC tournament’s #4 vs. #5 game. Nonetheless, fans will say goodbye to these seniors in a Checkerboard environment.

The game is in the afternoon to accommodate for television, but there should still be a nice crowd in the stands.  If the 1 p.m. game time is too early for you or you have other plans, you can still follow the game.  Here is our Media Menu of action on TV, online, and the radio.

Television

The Bluejays will be regionally televised on Fox Sports Net, namely Fox Sports Midwest for those in Nebraska. It will be shown in 16×9 widescreen, not HD.  Tom Ackerman and Mac McCausland will call the action.

  • In the Omaha area, the game will be available on Cox Cable channel 47 and 745.
  • The game is available on satellite providers DirecTV channel 671, Dish Network channel 418 and for those with AT&T U-Verse, Channel 748.
  • In other areas of the country it will be live Fox Sports Indiana, Fox Sports Kansas City and Comcast SportsNet Chicago.

Online

There are several ways to follow the game via the Internet:

Radio

If you find yourself traversing the greater Midwest — specifically, the eastern part of Nebraska, Iowa, and even into Missouri — you can pick up T. Scott Marr’s play-by-play on Big Sports 590 AM along with former Bluejay Nick Bahe.

If you find yourself in the greater Waterloo/Cedar Falls area, you can catch the Panthers broadcast on KXEL 1540 AM or on any other of the Panther Radio Network affiliates.

As always if you have other media entities to add to follow the games, feel free to leave them in the comments.
