Creighton welcomed former coach Dana Altman back to Omaha, as the one-time Dean of the Valley brought his Oregon Ducks to the Qwest Center for game one of the College Basketball Invitational championship series.
That’s right, a championship series. The Bluejays won the first game of a best-of-three series that will send CU to Oregon for game two Wednesday evening. WBR’s Adam Streur was amidst the 12,000-plus fans that packed into the Phone Booth for Creighton’s last home game of the 2010-11 season.
