Media Menu: Creighton @ Wichita State

The Bluejays head on the road to ring in the New Year.  Creighton heads to Wichita State to take on the shockers in a New Year’s Eve matinee.  They are hoping to rebound after opening MVC play with a loss at home to Missouri State.

We’re sure many fans will be out celebrating the new year in some way, shape or form.  For those that are not making the trip to Wichita with the team, here are the ways to follow the 5:00 p.m. game no matter where you are celebrating.

Television

The Bluejays will be nationally televised on ESPNU.  It will be shown in high definition with  Dave Armstrong and David Kaplan calling the action.

  • In Omaha on Cox Communications cable system it is on digital channel 220 or in HD on channel 1220. You will have to check with your local cable provider to see if you get ESPNU.
  • On DirecTV, it is on channel 208
  • On Dish Network, you can find the games on channel 141

Online

There are several ways to follow the game via the Internet:

  • You can watch the game streaming live on your PC or XBox 360 through ESPN3.com if your internet provider carries this access. All of the major cable companies (Cox, Time Warner, Charter) carry ESPN3.com on their internet service. You can also access ESPN3 through your Android or iPhone with the Watch ESPN app.
  • Keep up with the live stats provided by Wichita State athletics.
  • Follow the tweets of GoCreighton for score updates.
  • Follow the tweets from the Omaha World-Herald, and Steve Pivovar,
  • Listen to the streaming audio of the broadcast by AM 590, Omaha’s ESPN Radio.
  • Listen to the streaming audio of the Wichita State broadcast on Shocker Radio.

Radio

If you find yourself traversing the greater Midwest — specifically, the eastern part of Nebraska, Iowa, and even into Missouri — you can pick up T. Scott Marr’s play-by-play along with former Bluejay Nick Bahe on Big Sports 590 AM.

For a different perspective of the game, you can catch the Wichita State broadcast of the game on KNSS 1330 AM around the greater Wichita area.
