October 28, 2005 — Creighton volleyball star Korie Lebeda becomes the fastest player in Bluejays history to reach 1,000 assists.
Lebeda, an Omaha native, recorded her 1,000 assist in just her 23rd career match. She would finish 2005 with a 13.34 assists per set average, a Missouri Valley Conference record.
