Men's Basketball

Media Menu: Creighton Men’s Basketball @ Indiana State

The Creighton men’s basketball team hits the road for an important game on Wednesday night against Indiana State. The Sycamores have been a bit of a darkhorse in MVC play this season. They are still in the MVC race and have been hyping up this game in Terre Haute for the past couple of weeks, so it will be interesting to say the least.

The midweek trip to Indiana isn’t an easy one. If you aren’t able to make the trip to Wednesday night’s 6:05 p.m. CT tip, there are several ways to follow the game — however watching it on TV might be a little tricky.

Television:

The game will be produced by Terre Haute’s local NBC affiliate WTWO. The good news is that the game will be available to fans in Omaha LIVE on KMTV-2, also known as “Live Well TV.”  The tricky part might be on how to find it.

  • If you still have the rabbit ears on your TV, it is available over the air in the metro and surrounding areas on digital channel 3.2.
  • For those with Cox cable and a digital cable box, it is available on Cox channel 125 in the Omaha metro.
  • For those with Cox cable without a digital cable box, it’s available over the “QAM” tuner in newer model TV’s on channel 105.4.
  • On satellite with DirecTV and Dish Network, this game will not be available in the local area.
  • Nationwide, the WTWO broadcast will be available on the ESPN Full Court PPV package.

For those in the Terre Haute, Indiana area, the game will be broadcast on WAWV, but on a tape delayed basis at 1:00 AM on Thursday.  Don’t expect to watch it live in that area.  The tape delay is available over the air across the Wabash Valley area of west central Indiana on channel channel 38.1.  Here is where it is available on other platforms in the area on a tape delay basis.

  • On Time Warner Cable, WAWV is available on Channel 8
  • On Dish Network, WAWV  is available on Channel 20
  • On DirecTV WAWV is available on Channel 38

Online

  • You can watch the ESPN3 broadcast streaming live on your PC or XBox 360 through ESPN3.com if your internet provider carries this access. All of the major cable companies (Cox, Time Warner, Charter) carry ESPN3.com on their internet service. Here are a list of other high speed internet and video providers that carry ESPN3.
  • You can access ESPN3 through your Android, iPad, or iPhone with the Watch ESPN app. However, that is limited to those with Bright House, Verizon FiOsTV, Verizon high speed internet and Time Warner subscribers. New to this list is Cox Communications.  You can get this if you are a Cox internet subscriber.

Radio/Audio

  • If you find yourself traversing the greater Midwest — specifically, the eastern part of Nebraska, Iowa, and even into Missouri — you can pick up T. Scott Marr’s play-by-play along with former Bluejay Nick Bahe over the air on AM 590, Omaha’s ESPN Radio.
  • If you are in or around the Terre Haute, Indiana area, you can pick up the game on WIBQ 98.5 FM on your dial.

After the game, stay tuned after the AM590 postgame to catch Bluejay Banter and their postgame show live from DJ’s Dugout across from the CenturyLink Center. They will talk to Creighton coaches and others to get the latest on the Bluejays as well as take phone calls.

As always, feel free to leave comments if there are other ways to follow the game.
