Media Menu: Creighton Women’s Basketball vs. Syracuse (NCAA Tournament 1st Round)

The Creighton women’s basketball team is in Knoxville, Tennessee, this weekend for the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Jim Flanery and the Bluejays face Syracuse on Saturday morning at 10:20 a.m. CST.

Here are the options for following the Saturday morning tip.

Television

The ESPN Family of networks will be carrying all of the Women’s NCAA Tournament Games.  The game on Saturday will be carried on ESPN2. However, only certain areas will get to see game in its entirety on the channel. Part of the coverage on ESPN2 during this time period includes whip-around coverage to all of the different games.  Here are the areas that will see the full game on ESPN2:

  • The Omaha Metro area including Council Bluffs and down I-29 to the Missouri border.
  • A large part of the state of New York
  • Here is the coverage map to see if you will be able to see the full game on ESPN2.

Here is where you can find ESPN2:

  • In Omaha on Cox Communications cable system it is on digital channel 30 or in HD on channel 1030. You will have to check with your local cable provider to see if you get ESPN2, but it is almost likely you have it in your basic cable package.
  • On DirecTV, it is on channel 209.
  • On Dish Network, you can find the games on channel 144.

For everyone else not in the coverage map area, you will be able to watch the game in its entirety on ESPN3.com or on TV through the ESPN Full Court PPV package.

Online

  • You can watch the ESPN3 broadcast streaming live on your PC or XBox 360 through ESPN3.com if your internet provider carries this access. All of the major cable companies (Cox, Time Warner, Charter) carry ESPN3.com on their internet service. Here are a list of other high speed internet and video providers that carry ESPN3.
  • You can access WatchESPN through your Android, iPad, or iPhone with the Watch ESPN app. However, that is limited to those with Bright House, Verizon FiOsTV, Verizon high speed internet and Time Warner subscribers.  Cox Communications is in this list now. You can get this if you are a Cox internet subscriber.
  • Keep up with the live stats. You can also follow the stats on your mobile device.
  • Follow the tweets of GoCreighton for score updates.
  • Follow the tweets of White & Blue Review Matt DeMarinis or Rob Simms for periodic updates during the games.

Radio

All Creighton games will be carried in the Omaha area on 1180 AM, The Zone 2.  Brad Burwell and Glen Sisk will be on the call.
