The Creighton volleyball team started slow out of the gates on Friday night against St. John’s getting down early 0-2. However, they made a valiant comeback to tie it at two sets apiece forcing a deciding game five. Ultimately the Bluejays lost 17-15 in the fifth set and fell to St. John’s 3-2 at DJ Sokol Arena.
Michelle Sicner scored a triple-double and Jess Bird had 15 kills to lead the effort for the Bluejays. They return to the court on Sunday at noon against Seton Hall.
