Media Menu: Creighton Men’s Basketball @ Big East Tournament

Creighton fans will descend upon New York City and Madison Square Garden for the Big East Tournament this week.  It will be a new experience for all that many will not forget.

While thousands of fans will be there in person, others will still be following back in Omaha or across the nation.  To make things a little easier, here is the Media Menu to follow the Creighton games throughout the Big East Tournament.

Thursday’s 6:00 p.m. CDT game against Depaul or Georgetown

Friday’s potential 8:30 p.m. CDT game against Xavier or Marquette

Saturday’s championship game is at 7:30 p.m. CDT

Television:

All Big East Tournament games will be shown live on FS1 in high definition.  All games that Creighton could play in will be called by Gus Johnson and Bill Raftery. Erin Andrews will serve as sideline reporter.  (NOTE: if outside Omaha, use the Fox Sports 1 channel finder guide to see where FS1 is on your TV carrier).

  • In Omaha on Cox Communications = channel 78 (SD) or 1078 (HD)
  • In Omaha on CenturyLink Prism = channel 620 (SD) 1620 (HD)
  • Nationally on DirecTV = channel 219
  • Nationally on Dish Network = channel 150

Specials:  Throughout Fox Sports 1’s tournament coverage, Fox College Hoops Tip-off presents exclusive behind-the-scenes access to one of the top teams in the country. Creighton All-Access is a series of backstage features chronicling the Bluejays’ journey during their first Big East Tournament, with one feature running each night of the tournament.

  • For those with Fox Sports 1 on these select systems (Xfinity, AT&T Uverse, Suddenlink, WOW, Midcontinent, and Optimum) you can download the Fox Sports Go app for your Apple device and stream the game.
  • For those that have Fox Sports 1 from Cox Communications in Omaha, inside your home you can watch the game on the Cox Contour app on your Apple iPad device and select Android tablets.  The Contour app is available to Cox bundle customers with Cox TV Essential or better, and Cox Internet Preferred or better. The app is compatible with iPad 2 or newer (iPad 1 is compatible with the Cox TV Connect app, also found in the App store).
  • Keep up with the live stats of the game Thursday, Friday & Saturday.

  • If you find yourself in the Omaha metro — you can pick up John Bishop’s play-by-play along with former Bluejay Nick Bahe over the air on 1620 the Zone at 1620AM on your dial.
  • Find a Westwood One affiliate in your area to pick up the game.
  • Those with satellite radio can pick up all Big East Tournament games on Sirius channel 93 and XM channel 191.

After the game, stay tuned after the 1620 the Zone postgame to catch Bluejay Banter and their “Overtime” postgame show. They will talk to Creighton coaches and others to get the latest on the Bluejays as well as take phone calls.

Big East School radio stations

  • Butler:  If you live in the Indianapolis area, you can pick up the broadcast on 1070 AM The Fan.
  • Depaul: In the Chicago area you can pick the game up on AM 670 “The Score” WSCR”
  • Georgetown: For those in Washington D.C. and surrounding areas, you can pick up the game on your radio on Sports Talk 570 AM.
  • Marquette: If you live in the Milwaukee area, you can pick up the broadcast on 540 AM, the local ESPN Radio affiliate.
  • Providence:  If you live in the Providence area, you can pick up the broadcast on WEEI, 103.7 FM.
  • St. John’s: For those in the New York metro,  you can pick up the game on your radio on Bloomberg radio 1130 AM.
  • Seton Hall:  In the New Jersey area you have two options to listen to the Seton Hall perspective.  You can pick the game up on AM 970 WNY
  • Villanova: If you live in the Philadelphia area, you can pick up the broadcast on 1210 AM WPHT
  • Xavier: If you live in the Cincinnati area, you can pick up the broadcast on 550 AM, 55KRC
