College basketball fans are just a few weeks away from the NCAA Tournament Selection Show. Between now and then, many fans will play the role of bracketologist. Tim Krueger, co-host of the Bluejay Banter radio show, is one such fan. Krueger has conducted his own bracket projections for years, even before ESPN’s Joe Lunardi gave such a practice the term Bracketology. Lunardi even praised Krueger’s efforts as a guest on Banter.
Each Monday leading up to Selection Sunday, Krueger will provide White & Blue Review his updated bracket predictions. Bluejay Banter can be heard every Monday from 5-6PM on Big Sports 590 AM, with podcasts of the show available via www.BigSports590.com.

Krueger’s Notes About the Bracket:
This has been the toughest week to bracket so far. The big move on the top is Purdue moving to a #1 seed and Villanova moving to a #2. The Cats have finally hit the rough part of their schedule and have more tough games ahead so I feel justified in moving them to a #2.
At this point, there are only about two teams that deserve a #3 seed and about fifteen that deserve a #4 seed, so that part of the bracket is tough to handicap at this point.
I’m sure many will question my move of Michigan State to a #5 seed. However, their power rating and RPI are both in the 20’s, they have played a weaker schedule than the other three Big Ten teams, and they are only 2-6 against teams in the top 50.
At the bottom, Dayton manages to hang on despite their bad loss over the weekend. Ole Miss and Charlotte continue to lose, making way for Florida to move up.
Last four in: Arizona State, Dayton, Florida, Marquette
Last four out: San Diego State, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Charlotte
Need big help: UConn, Minnesota, Wichita State, Washington
