March 29, 2008 — The Creighton softball team sweeps Northern Iowa thanks to a flurry of home runs.
CU’s T.J. Eadus hit a two-run, walk-off home run to beat UNI in extra innings during the doubleheader’s first game, and then Eadus hit two more homers in the second contest (an 11-6 Creighton win).
Joining Eadus in her power hitting display was CU’s Michelle Graner, who added a homer in the first game and two more in the second contest. The four home runs by Eadus and Graner in the second game marked the second most home runs hit in a single game in CU history.
