CWS 2010 Recap: Game #7

Arizona State looked like anything but the tournament’s overall No. 1 seed during its time in Omaha, and that culminated during a disastrous second inning on Tuesday against South Carolina. The Gamecocks put eight runs on the board in the bottom of the second, and the game never got close as South Carolina went on to win 11-4 on a blisteringly hot afternoon during which the heat index rose to 100 degrees.

Jackie Bradley and Adrian Morales each homered for the Gamecocks in the eight-run second. They will play the loser of the Clemson-Oklahoma game that was delayed in the sixth inning until today at 3:30.
