Former Jay Nets Go-Ahead Goal, Men’s Soccer Drops Game vs. Wiz

Creighton’s men’s soccer team didn’t fare nearly as well in its second exhibition match of the week as it did on Saturday night.

Monday afternoon the Bluejays visited the practice facility of the Kansas City Wizards of the MLS. And they left on the wrong end of a 4-2 finish.

Former Creighton standout Michael Kraus broke a 2-2 tie with a goal that proved decisive for the Wiz. Before Kraus’ tally, Creighton’s Ethan Finlay forced a tie with his second goal of the match.

The Bluejays play their third and final exhibition of the fall Thursday night, August 27, when they host the University of Nebraska Club team at Morrison Stadium (7 p.m.)..
