Baseball Media Menu: @ Corvallis Regional

Creighton begins the NCAA Tournament in the Corvallis regional, where the Oregon State Beavers host the Bluejays, the Georgia Bulldogs, and Arkansas-Little Rock. The Jays are hoping to ultimately return to Omaha and TD Ameritrade Park as participants in this year’s College World Series — 20 years after the school’s one and only appearance in the CWS.

But first things first. Creighton opens play Friday at 3:00 p.m. Central against Georgia. The double-elimination four-team regional guarantees CU will play on Saturday, too, against either the Beavers or Trojans. The rest of Creighton’s weekend will depend on how the Bluejays fare Friday and Saturday.
