Bluejay Banter Bracketology (2/28/2011)

College basketball fans are just a few weeks away from the NCAA Tournament Selection Show. Between now and then, many fans will play the role of bracketologist. Tim Krueger, co-host of the Bluejay Banter radio show, is one such fan. Krueger has conducted his own bracket projections for years, even before ESPN’s Joe Lunardi gave such a practice the term Bracketology.

Each Monday leading up to Selection Sunday, Krueger will provide White & Blue Review his updated bracket predictions. Bluejay Banter can be heard every Monday from 6-7PM on 590 AM, Omaha’s ESPN Radio, with podcasts of the show available via www.am590espnradio.com.

Krueger’s Notes About the Bracket:

The bracket continues to be a very fluid situation, with most of the teams on the bubble not helping themselves (i.e. Nebraska, Colorado State, Memphis, Minnesota)

Colorado made the biggest move this week. The Buffs were not even under consideration last week, and now they are the first team out. Also BYU moved to the top line with their sweep of SDSU and another Texas loss.

Last four in: Michigan State, Michigan, Memphis, Boston College

Last four out: Colorado, Baylor, Maryland, Colorado State

Next four out: Clemson, Penn State, Minnesota, Wichita State
