Bluejay Beat: 2018 Baseball Season Wrap-up

The Creighton baseball team had their season end with a whimper on Saturday with a 7-2 loss against Cal.  Despite the solid showing in the non-conference season, the Bluejays lost their postseason opportunities on the field against the Big East.  Creighton had an outside chance of making the Big East tournament, but the shortened Georgetown / Seton Hall series caused the Jays to fall a game short out of fourth place seemingly ending the season.

Matt DeMarinis and Alex Sindelar took you through the baseball season up close and personal with the Bluejays.  After the final regular season game, the guys took some time to wrap up the season and give their thoughts in the Bluejay Beat.

Unless there was some miracle that brought the Bluejays to the NCAA Tournament next week, the 2017-18 Creighton sports season has come to an end.  Enjoy the podcast and we’ll be back to cover the happenings of Creighton sports throughout the summer and into the 2018-19 season.
