What a weekend it was for Brent Vigness, his coaching staff, and the Creighton Bluejays softball team. Tara Oltman, Renae Sinkler, and the rest of the Jays beat Wichita State in extra innings, posted a one-run win against Illinois State, then defeated Southern Illinois twice — both times by one run — to win the MVC Tournament and clinch an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Bluejays will play Missouri in Columbia this Friday at 6:30 p.m. The Tigers are a top 10 team, having posted a 46-11 record in 2010.
