Highlight Reel: Drake and Missouri State

These were two of the funnest highlight reels of the season to compile, and they’re the two funnest to watch as well, I think. First up is a game where Creighton made 34 (!) field goals, meaning this reel is a little longer than most. It’s well worth it to see the Jays’ offense executing on all cylinders, though — and to see Nevin Johnson’s breakout performance, including a block, a three and a nominee for WBR Play of the Year with his baseline dunk late in the game.

And of course, the Missouri State game…or should I say, the Doug McDermott Game. 39 points, 15-19 field goals, 14 consecutive made field goals, he did it all in this one. A reader of ours made a comment to me recently that he watched a highlight reel with his granddaughter and she noted that Creighton never misses. Usually, that’s because of the way they’re edited; in this case, Doug actually NEVER MISSES. Enjoy.
