Media Menu: Creighton Men’s Basketball vs. Xavier

The Creighton men’s basketball team hopes to finish the regular season on a high note on Saturday.  The Bluejays take on Xavier to finish Big East play.  The Seniors will be playing their hearts out with fans watching Austin Chatman, Avery Dingman, Will Artino, Devin Brooks and Rick Kreklow one last time at CenturyLink Center Omaha.  If things go well, you may also see Gabe Connealy and Mo Oginni one last time as well.

If you are going to the game, make sure to wear your white for the White Out.  If you aren’t able to make it, here are the ways you can follow the game no matter where you are for the 1:00 p.m. central time tip.

Television vs. Xavier:

The Bluejays will be  televised on select Fox Sports Networks. It will be shown in high definition with with Ron Mike Corey and Tarik Turner on the call.

  • In Omaha on CenturyLink Prism = channel 748 (SD) or 1748 (HD)

  • This game will NOT be available on Fox Sports Go for Omaha Cox Communications customers.  FSN subscribers to AT&T, Cable One, Suddenlink, Charter, Comcast (in New Mexico, Arkansas and Kansas), MediaCom, Time Warner and WOW  will have access to online viewing from your computer.
  • You can also download the Fox Sports Go app for your Android, Apple, Kindle Fire, or Windows Mobile device and stream the game. Again not available to Omaha Cox Communications subscribers for this game.

Check out the  pre-game show “Bluejay Shootaround” on 1620 AM the Zone hosted by Josh Peterson and former Bluejay Josh Dotzler, from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

  • If you find yourself in the Omaha metro — you can pick up John Bishop’s play-by-play along with former Bluejay Nick Bahe over the air on 1620 the Zone at 1620AM on your dial.
  • If you live in the Cincinnati area, you can pick up the Xavier broadcast on 55KRC-AM at 550 AM on your dial.
  • If you have a satellite radio subscription you can pick up the game nationally on Sirius Channel 126,  SiriusXM Channel 204, and XM Channel 204.

After the game, stay tuned after the 1620 the Zone postgame to catch Bluejay Banter and their “Overtime” postgame show. They will talk to Creighton coaches and others to get the latest on the Bluejays as well as take phone calls.
