Men's Basketball

Media Menu: Creighton @ Nebraska

Nebraska and Creighton fans look forward to this day each season — the one time they play each other in men’s basketball. It is still the case this season as message boards of the two schools light up with jabs intended to rile up the fans of the two teams.

As a whole, however, Nebraska fans may not be as fired up for this in-state matchup as they usually are. After all, the football team’s playing for a Big 12 title Saturday night. How many fans that would normally make it to the Devaney Center for this weekend’s game will be in Arlington instead?

Many CU fans will make the short trip down the road to Lincoln. For those who aren’t, White & Blue Review has your media menu options for Saturday’s 1 p.m. game against Huskers.

Television

The Bluejays will be regionally televised on Fox Sports Net, namely Fox Sports Midwest. Greg Sharpe and Husker legend Eric Piatkowski will have the call on this one.

  • In the Omaha area, the game will be available on Cox Cable channel 47 and 745. It may or may not be in HD.
  • The game is available on satellite providers DirecTV channel 680 and Dish Network channel 447
  • Nationwide, this game is scheduled to be on ESPN Full Court and ESPN3.com.

Online

There are several ways to follow the game via the Internet:

Radio

If you find yourself traversing the greater Midwest — specifically, the eastern part of Nebraska, Iowa, and even into Missouri — you can pick up T. Scott Marr’s play-by-play along with former Bluejay Nick Bahe on Big Sports 590 AM.

Across the state of Nebraska, you can hear the Husker side of things on any of their Husker Sports Network radio stations. Nationally you can hear their broadcast on Sirius Satellite Radio on Channel 154

As always, if you have other media entities to add to follow the games, feel free to leave them in the comments.
