Media Menu: Creighton vs. Bradley

The Qwest Center hasn’t been too much of a home court advantage this season. The Bluejays have lost their three toughest home games against BYU, Missouri State, and Wichita State. With the losses against the MVC foes being the first back-to-back losses in Qwest Center history, fans are hoping that the Bluejays can get back to their winning ways at home.

Bradley comes to town sporting an 0-7 conference record and the Bluejays don’t want to be the ones to give them their first league victory, especially on the road. But Creighton will need the help of the Phone Booth faithful to carry them to victory and break their two game losing streak.

However, if you can’t be there, here are the ways you can follow the game in our Media Menu:

Television

The game will be broadcast by Nebraska Educational Television (NET), the PBS station across the state of Nebraska. The best part is that it is in HD! Kevin Kugler and former Creighton player Nick Bahe will have the call.

  • If you still have the rabbit ears on your TV, it is available across the state of Nebraska on your local PBS station.
  • For those with cable systems, it is available on Cox channel 12 or 712 in the Omaha metro. In other areas of Nebraska, it will be available on your cable’s main NET channel. Here is a coverage map and translators/channels.
  • The game will be on DirecTV channel 26 and on Dish Network 9147 in the local DMA market which is Nebraska and parts of Iowa.
  • The game WILL be available nationwide on ESPN Full Court and ESPN3.com (where available). The NET SD broadcast will be beamed nationwide.
  • For fans in the Peoria area, the game will also be carried on WTVP World which is part of the Peoria PBS affiliate using their own TV/camera crew–Frank Bussone (play-by-play) and Chad Kleine (analyst).  Here is how you can tune into that broadcast.

Online

There are several ways to follow the game via the Internet:

Radio

If you find yourself traversing the greater Midwest — specifically, the eastern part of Nebraska, Iowa, and even into Missouri — you can pick up T. Scott Marr’s play-by-play along with former Bluejay Brody Deren on Big Sports 590 AM.

If you are in the Peoria/Chicagoland area, you can pick up the Bradley broadcast on WMBD 1470 AM.
