Creighton’s win against Davidson on Monday night is a testament to what head coach Greg McDermott has been trying to build with this team all season — great team chemistry and making sure the Bluejays are in the game at the end. In both wins against San Jose State and Davidson in the College Basketball Invitational, Creighton could have easily folded, but fought to the end and walked away with wins.
The Bluejays are one of only a little over 30 teams left playing college hoops this season. They hope to continue to the championship series that will be played next week, but will play Wednesday night at the Qwest Center against the UCF Knights. A small but mighty crowd made it out on Monday night and hopefully more will do so on Wednesday. But if you already have plans, you can still follow the game. This game will be televised by HDNet. As the name of the channel suggests, yes it will be in HD. However, the channel is not offered in Omaha on Cox Communications, nor in Lincoln on Time Warner Cable. However, there are still ways to watch.
