Media Menu: Creighton vs. Idaho State

Last Saturday night, the Bluejays took a few minutes to warm up, but before long Ethan Wragge and Kenny Lawson turned on the jets. As a result, Creighton probably played one of their best games of the season to this point.

The win against St. Joseph’s was but a precursor to what many Bluejays fans have been eagerly awaiting since last winter — the debut of Gregory Echenique in a Creighton uniform. The game against Idaho State is the first of three contests scheduled between the end of CU’s finals week and the start of the Missouri Valley Conference schedule, in an attempt to get Echenique some court time before the team travels to Normal on December 29.

That’s right; this weekend marks the end of the semester on campus. And with that, the Creighton students head home. There are likely plenty of good seats to be had in the lower bowl for the three games this week. However, if you can’t be at the Qwest Center to catch this weekend’s game, we’ve got your media menu options for the 7 p.m. tip-off against the Bengals.
