Media Menu: Creighton vs. Illinois State

It has been a long time since Creighton has won two games in a row. The Bluejays have gone through a long stretch now where they win a game at home and then hit the road, only to lose. The last time the Bluejays played two games in a row at home, it was at the beginning of January and they went 1-1 on that homestand.

After playing one of their most complete games of the season against Southern Illinois, Creighton has an opportunity again to start a winning streak. CU hosts Illinois State, a team near the bottom of the MVC standings.

The crowd should gather just to see Gregory Echenique goggle night in the student section, with 600 people going Ga Ga for Gregory and wearing replica goggles. Who needs a blue-out or a white-out when you can just tell everyone to wear goggles?

Well in case you can’t see the spectacle in person, we have your options to follow the action for Wednesday’s 7:05 p.m. tip.

The game will be broadcast by Nebraska Educational Television (NET), the PBS station across the state of Nebraska. The best part is that it is in HD! Kevin Kugler and former Creighton Bluejay Nick Bahe will have the call.
