Media Menu: Creighton vs. Indiana State

The Bluejays hoped to come back to the Qwest Center with a little win streak and a solid foothold on third place in the Valley, with a couple more chances to keep pace or move up in the pecking order. Instead, they again head home after a loss (or, as it were, a blowout embarrassment) hoping to pick up a win to stay above .500 and keep afloat in the “Race To Avoid Arch Madness Thursday”. Indiana State, without three key players on the team due to injury, may make the Jays look like world beaters, or not.

At White & Blue Review, we want to make sure you are always aware of the different media at your disposal for keeping track of every Bluejays game, home and away. Here are the different viewing and tracking options for Tuesday’s 7 p.m. game against the Sycamores.

Television

For the second time this season, Nebraska Public Television will broadcast the Bluejays across the state of Nebraska on NET-1 and NET-HD, with Larry Punteney and former Bluejay Nick Bahe on the call. It is one of the few Creighton games this season to get the High Definition treatment. Here are the ways you can pick up the game in the Omaha metro area.

  • If you have rabbit ears on your TV, you can pick up the game over the air on digital channel 17. Here are the other channels across the state where you can pick up the game over the air.
  • If you have Cox Cable, you can pick up the game on the basic tier on channel 12 or watch the high-def broadcast on channel 712. All other Nebraska cable providers should have Nebraska NET available on their systems.
  • The game will not be available on satellite from our understanding.

Online

There are several ways to follow the game via the Internet:

  • Free streaming video of the game will be available from NET Nebraska.
  • You can listen to the audio online at Big Sports 590 AM in Omaha.
  • Keep up with the Live Stats from GoCreighton.com.
  • For a different perspective, you can listen to the Indiana State broadcast online.

Radio

If you find yourself traversing the greater Midwest — specifically, the eastern part of Nebraska, Iowa, and even into Missouri — you can pick up T. Scott Marr’s play-by-play along with former Bluejay Jimmy Motz on Big Sports 590 AM.

Or if you are one of our readers from the Terre Haute region, you can hear the game on The Crock, 92.7 FM on your radio dial.
