Media Menu: Creighton vs. Northwestern

Creighton returns to the CenturyLink Center Thursday night after a making a statement at Tulsa earlier this week. The Bluejays look to beat their third Big Ten team of the season as the Northwestern Wildcats come to town.

Head coach Greg McDermott talked on the postgame show Monday night about the need for a large and loud contingent of fans to fill the CLC Thunderdome and make it a tough environment for the Wildcats.

With Christmas coming quickly we know you may not be able to make it to the 7:05 p.m. tip-off, though. So here is the Media Menu to give you your other options.

Television

The game will be broadcast by Omaha’s local CBS station KMTV, otherwise known as Action3 News. Travis Justice and Nick Bahe will have the call.

  • If you still have the rabbit ears on your TV, it is available over the air in the metro and surrounding areas.
  • For those with cable systems, it is available on Cox channel 5 or 1005 (but no HD) in the Omaha metro. In Lincoln and other surrounding Time Warner Cable outlets in Nebraska stretching as far west as York and as far south as Fairbury and Nebraska City, it is available on Time Warner Cable channel 3.
  • On satellite with DirecTV and Dish Network, those with the Omaha DMA will have it on their local CBS channel which is KMTV. However, those with old style satellites will be out of luck since there are no satellite coordinates.
  • Nationwide, the KMTV broadcast will be available on the ESPN Full Court PPV package.

There are several ways to follow the game via the Internet:

  • You can watch the game streaming live on your PC or XBox 360 through ESPN3.com if your internet provider carries this access. All of the major cable companies (Cox, Time Warner, Charter) carry ESPN3.com on their internet service. You can also access ESPN3 through your Android or iPhone with the Watch ESPN app.

Those in the Chicago metro can pick up the game on their local radio through WGN Radio 720 AM on the dial.
