Media Menu: Creighton @ Wichita State

Creighton has really struggled on the road this season.  Other than their three road wins to begin conference season, every other game on the road has been a loss.  Throw in the 0-4 road record in the non-conference part of the season and you definitely have a team that has some problems playing away from the Qwest Center.

The Bluejays head on the road one more time during the regular season.  Wednesday night’s game against Wichita State will again be challenge, especially CU’s BracketBuster loss at Akron on Saturday.  To steal a win in Wichita would be quite an accomplishment considering the road woes suffered throughout the season.

Wichita is a nice 6-hour drive from the Omaha metro, and since it is a weeknight, I’m sure a lot of Creighton fans won’t be able to make the trip.  But that is OK.  We have your Media Menu full of options to follow the 7 p.m. tip on Wednesday night.

Television

The Bluejays will be regionally televised on Fox Sports Net, namely Fox Sports Midwest for those in Nebraska. It will be shown in 16×9 widescreen, not HD. Scott Warmann and Rich Zvosec will call the action.

  • In the Omaha area, the game will be available on Cox Cable channel 47 and 745.
  • The game is available on satellite providers DirecTV channel 671, Dish Network channel 418 and for those with AT&T U-Verse, Channel 748.
  • In other areas of the country it will be live Fox Sports Midwest, Fox Sports Kansas City, KSMO-TV in Kansas City and Comcast SportsNet Plus.   Comcast SportsNet Chicago will show the game on a tape delay basis at 12:30 a.m. on Thursday.

Online

There are several ways to follow the game via the Internet:

If you find yourself traversing the greater Midwest — specifically, the eastern part of Nebraska, Iowa, and even into Missouri — you can pick up T. Scott Marr’s play-by-play along with former Bluejay Nick Bahe on Big Sports 590 AM.

For a different perspective of the game, you can catch the Wichita State broadcast of the game on KNSS 1330 AM around the greater Wichita area.
