Creighton sent the second largest crowd in school history home with an early present for the holidays Thursday night. The Bluejays beat previously 10-1 Northwestern 87-79, and in the process wrapped up a 10-1 record ahead of Missouri Valley Conference play. Doug McDermott fought foul trouble to post yet another 20-point game (27 points, to be exact), a handful of other Bluejays finished with double figures, and Grant Gibbs tied an arena record with 12 assists.
