The Creighton baseball team opened play at TD Ameritrade Park for the 2012 season on Tuesday night with some great weather in Omaha. The Bluejays came away with a 2-0 victory over BYU.
Six pitchers combined for the shutout with Ty Blach, Erik Mattingly, Shane Liska, Mark Winkelman, Kurt Spomer and Reese McGraw slowing the Cougars down. The six pitchers allowed just five hits, all singles, and did not allow a walk all evening.
