How do you spell heartbreak? For the Creighton men’s basketball team, they are becoming professionals at the spelling bee. After a hard fought game with the #4 team in the country and a chance to tie or win in the final seconds, the Bluejays came up short once again in a 76-72 loss against Villanova on Tuesday night.
Will Artino’s layup attempt with a couple seconds remaining bounced off the side of the rim and the Wildcats were able to secure the victory after a disastrous final seconds. Austin Chatman led the way for the Bluejays with 21 points, scoring 20+ in back to back games.
