The CenturyLink was full again on Tuesday night with their fourth consecutive sellout as the Creighton men’s basketball team defeated Northern Iowa 79-68. After hitting six three-pointers in the first half, the Bluejays did not hit another one in the second half, but still scored 42 points to pull away from the Panthers.
Doug McDermott led the way again with his second consecutive game with 30 or more points, finishing with 31. At the same time it was a balanced scoring attack with Austin Chatman and Grant Gibbs in double-figures and four other players with 5 points or more.
