Start your engines because college basketball is back..well almost.
The Creighton men’s basketball team played their lone exhibition game on Friday night against Northern State and walked away with an easy 89-61 win. They took the opportunity to fine tune their skills to get ready for their season opener in a week and to also get everyone a taste of playing time.
Doug McDermott led the way with 26 points while playing a game high 24 minutes in the victory. Junior College transfer Devin Brooks stole the show for many in attendance. The biggest result from this game were no injuries, which is always good news.
