Tuesday night, the Creighton men’s basketball team survived against their traditional rival Southern Illinois with a 59-45 win. Despite the win, there are still some things that the Bluejays will continue to work on during the stretch run.
There was a lot of mixed reaction to the win, but a win is a win. The race for at least a share of the MVC regular season championship is still attainable. Creighton steps out of conference for Bracketbusters on Saturday with a game at St. Mary’s, but return next week with two MVC regular season games left.
