Last Saturday, the Creighton men’s basketball seniors played their last game at CenturyLink Center Omaha. While this class will be remembered for their missed opportunities on the court, they were the biggest winners with their cohesiveness and desire to keep trying to do their best. They were also the part of a historic stretch of Bluejay basketball the past few seasons.
Creighton heads to New York looking forward to their final opportunity to make this year’s NCAA Tournament and keep a postseason streak alive. Their first game will be against DePaul on Wednesday night. A win would put them into the quarterfinals against Georgetown on Thursday.
