What a night. Creighton fans are still catching their breath from the Bluejays victory over Xavier at the CenturyLink Center on Tuesday night. The Bluejays led wire-to-wire in the 70-56 victory.
Maurice Watson, Jr. had a career high 32 points in the victory and helped lead Creighton down the stretch when the Musketeers changed to a 1-3-1 zone defense. The team defense was amazing and kept Xavier from being effective from behind the arc, holding them to 1-of-21 from the three.
