The Creighton men’s soccer team returned home to Morrison Stadium on Saturday night looking to get things back on the right track. Unfortunately, their scoring troubles continued and they fell to Villanova 1-0 in overtime.
Creighton led in shots on goal 20-13, but could not get one of those to go into the net. The Wildcats’ Dylan Renna scored the game winner unassisted at 99:28 of overtime. The Bluejays fall to 6-5-2 on the season. They return to action Wednesday night at Butler.
