The Creighton Men’s basketball team jumped out to an early lead and then went on a 32-6 run to finish the first half to cruise to an 88-60 win over the Butler Bulldogs. The Bluejays are now 5-0 in the Big East.
Doug McDermott kept pace with Butler by himself scoring 24 of his game high 28 points in the first half. The Bulldogs only scored 24 points in the first half. With the chance to play a lot of reserves, the Bluejay starters got some extra rest before the next road trip to the east coast this weekend.
