Soto collected two hits during Creighton’s 13-6 win against North Dakota, beginning what would sprawl into a 23-game hit streak for the sophomore shortstop. During the streak, Soto hit at a .347 clip (35-101). The streak would come up 5 games short of an all-time CU record.
Soto improved on a solid freshman year (.272 BA/.324 OBP/18 RBI) with an all-MVC campaign his sophomore season (.322 BA/.369 OBP/26 RBI).
