March 25, 2009 — The Creighton softball team posts 6 doubles during an extra-inning win at Kansas.

After CU took the first game of a non-conference doubleheader in Lawrence, the Bluejays and Jayhawks squared off for an intense second game. The contest lasted 10 innings, during which the Jays hit a school-record 6 doubles. That effort tied a single-game mark that occurred three other times according to the Creighton softball media guide; most recently, during a February 1999 game against Detroit.
