Today in Bluejay History (5/10)

May 10, 2005 — The second-largest regular season baseball crowd in Rosenblatt Stadium history turns out to see #30 Creighton upset #3 Nebraska.

The Bluejays and Huskers battled in some epic contests during the 2005 season, one that would find the rival programs meet in the NCAA Tournament in Lincoln. But in the final regular season matchup between the two schools, Creighton prevailed in front of 20,011 fans.

Tony Roth broke a 3-3 tie by doubling home Colin Shockey, and Zach Daeges added an insurance run with an RBI single to score Roth.
