Today in Bluejay History (5/12)

May 12, 2007 — Creighton completes a game without striking out.

The Bluejays set a school record by finishing a game at Illinois State without suffering a strikeout.

Having won 16 of 17 games, Creighton failed to strikeout in the second game of what would become a three-game sweep of the Redbirds.

The Bluejays would finish the regular season winning 21 of their last 23 contests. They entered the MVC Tournament as the #25 team in the nation, and would win an epic Valley tournament to secure a bid to baseball’s Big Dance.
