September 27, 1998 — Freshman Melissa Walsh records a team-high 11 kills as the Creighton volleyball team picks up a road win in straight sets against Western Illinois.
Creighton came into the match with just one win on the season, but the victory over WIU was the first of four wins over a six match period for Walsh and the Jays.
