There are several Creighton related television updates that we would like to make sure to pass along to you:

Men’s Basketball

Dayton game–The Omaha World Herald reported on Tuesday that the season opening game against Dayton will be available to those in the Metro on Cox Cable Channel 2.  It will be the local WHIO feed from Dayton broadcasting the game.

@Evansville–I was informed by the Evansville Athletic office that the game at Evansville on January 3rd will only be available through an online video stream.  It will not be broadcast locally on TV, thus no feed to bring back to Omaha.

@New Mexico–It is still very unlikely that The Mtn. will be added to Cox’s system in Omaha for the Creighton-New Mexico matchup on December 19th.  Your best bet is still to go to a local sports establishment or to find a friend that has DirecTV.

Other Road games not on TV–The other road games in question on whether there will be a TV feed available to bring back to Omaha is a New Year’s day matchup at Indiana St and the January 27th matchup at Bradley.  The local TV packages for those schools have yet to be released, but should be soon.

Cross Country

TV channel Versus will be broadcasting the NCAA Cross Country Championships on Monday, November 23rd starting at 11AM.  If some Bluejays can race to qualify for the championships, you can watch it there.  Versus is on Cox Cable channel 231 and in HD on channel 748

Women’s Soccer

In the same Omaha World Herald report, the Women’s MVC Soccer Final will be broadcast on Cox digital channel 122  on November 8th at 1PM taking place at Creighton’s Morrison Stadium.

Volleyball

The MVC Volleyball tourney will be held here at Sokol arena this season.  The finals of the tournament will be broadcast on Cox channel 2 on November 28th at 3:30PM.

If you have any other broadcast updates feel free to let us know.
