Sunday had all the makings of a picture perfect day at Rosenblatt Stadium. Dads and sons gathered to celebrate Father’s Day. Four teams hoped to win their first games at the 2010 College World Series. The Baseball Gods didn’t cooperate, however.
The day’s baseball schedule was beset by rain and lightning delays. Oklahoma and South Carolina finally finished their game — originally slated to start at 1 p.m. — in the closing hours of Sunday evening. WBR’s Adam Streur stuck around for a few hours in the afternoon to capture some images of folks riding the storm out. Enjoy!
