The Creighton baseball team tried to gain themselves some momentum on Tuesday night against their in-state rival, Nebraska. After a horrible weekend at Southern Illinois, it appeared Creighton had hit rock bottom losing five of their last six and seven of their last nine games heading into the tilt with the Huskers.
Unfortunately, the Bluejays were not able to turn it around against the Huskers and dropped their fourth straight game 4-1. Nebraska used eight different pitchers in the game, but Creighton was only able to pick up three hits for the game.
The good news is that WBR photographers Adam Streur and Mike Spomer were there to catch the action. Enjoy the photos from the environment at TD Ameritrade Park.
