Baseball
- Mike Gerber is looking to make an impact in the MVC tourney after recovering from an appendectomy.
- NET with another great interview, this time with pitcher Mark Winkelman.
- With the Bluejays leaving the MVC, a lot of respect from Wichita State as an opponent.
- Creighton is projected as an at-large team by one baseball bracketologist. Another has them in as the MVC tourney champ.
- With the College World Series looming, Omaha fans should be happy with the time changes.
Men’s Basketball
- Russell Westbrook in a Creighton uniform. It almost happened. Here was his official visit itinerary back in the Dana Altman period.
- To little fanfare, point guard Andre Yates is transferring.
- You can’t compare Doug McDermott with Kansas incoming freshman Andrew Wiggins, or can you?
- New assistant coach Patrick Sellers is already making an impact.
- Turner’s acquisition of Bleacher Report still doesn’t give any credibility, especially when the top 10 three-point threats in 2013-14 doesn’t include either Doug McDermott or Ethan Wragge.
- Gregory Echenique is going to get his shot in Boston among others.
- Taylor Stormberg is at the top of the Club Trillion Player of the Year list.
