In the most recent NSCAA Poll, the Jays remain the #3 team in the nation but picked up one first place vote. Followed by #1 Maryland and #2 Connecticut, the Jays held steady in this week’s poll.
Maryland held on to the #1 spot with a close win over Maryland-Baltimore County 4-3 in double overtime and a 3-1 win over North Carolina State. UCONN held tight to the #2 spot with a 3-1 win over Boston University.
With a tough Kentucky team coming in on Wednesday, the Jays should be tested by the Wildcats’ explosive offense. Although there are other teams with no losses this year, Creighton remains the only team in the nation to have won every game via shutout.
