Creighton volleyball has a new look this season–a new head coach, with Kirsten Bernthal Booth stepping down from the program, and a reconstructed roster after stalwarts Norah Sis and Kendra Wait exhausted their eligibility. To start their 2025 season, they took on the defending National Champs in Penn St.
Although the Bluejays battled, they came up short in the end of games, eventually getting swept by the Nittany Lions down in Lincoln. But it at least gives them a place to start and rise from there.
Matt DeMarinis and Megan Epperson return for another season of Creighton Volleyball weekend wrap-ups. This week they dive into the good and bad from the Penn State match, including individual performances and specific phases like serving, blocking, attacking, etc. Then they preview the upcoming weekend slate of matches out in Madison against Texas and Kansas.
