Saturday at high noon, Creighton opens its regular season at Dayton. Not an easy task. Everyone always asks if the game is on TV, can I find it online and what are my options?
At White & Blue Review, we want to make sure you are always aware of the different media at your disposal for keeping track of every Bluejays game, home and away. Here are the different viewing and tracking options for Saturday’s tilt against the Flyers.
Television
Local Dayton television station WHIO will televise the game locally. Creighton and Cox Communications were able to work out an agreement to broadcast that station’s coverage of the game in Omaha. You can catch the contest on Cox Channel 2 and 122 (on the digital tier).
We have readers in 38 different cities in Ohio, and if you’re in the Dayton area and get WHIO on your TVs, you’ll obviously see the game. Good for you.
Online
There are several ways to follow the game via the Internet:
- The first one we suggest is to join our friends over at Rush The Court as they will have one of their correspondents courtside, conducting a Live Blog of the game. Everyone is invited to participate. Here’s the link!
- While you are taking part in the online chat, you can watch the game online for free from daytonflyers.com.
- Or you can listen to the audio online at Big Sports 590 in Omaha or WHIO Radio in Dayton.
- Keep up with the Live Stats from GoCreighton.com.
Radio
If you find yourself traversing the greater Midwest — specifically, the eastern part of Nebraska, Iowa, and even into Missouri, you can pick up T. Scott Marr’s play-by-ply on Big Sports 590 AM.
If you are in or near Dayton, Ohio, the game is available on WHIO Radio, which is 1290 AM.
