Creighton got a nice victory against their rival Southern Illinois on Friday night with Kaleb Korver hitting some big shots down the stretch and the Bluejays came from behind to win the game in overtime against the Saluki’s. You may want to go back and watch the highlights…. we’ll wait.
The Bluejays now take a short bus ride over to Evansville to take on the Purple Aces in a Sunday matinee. Evansville is coming off of a 65-50 loss to Missouri State in Springfield, so they will be looking forward to the friendly home confines of Roberts Stadium. It is also a place where the Bluejays haven’t always had great success. This will be the last time Creighton will play at Roberts Stadium as the City of Evansville is building a new arena and the Aces will be tenants there. The Bluejays hope to walk away with a win in this one.
Sunday’s is one of the few for the rest of the season that is not televised in some way, shape or form, so there are limited options to follow the game. However, we have your menu of options to follow Sunday’s 3:35 tipoff against Evansville.
