Media Menu: Creighton Men’s Basketball @ Paradise Jam

The fans may still be buzzing about the win over Wisconsin on Tuesday night, but the Creighton men’s basketball team has business to attend to starting on Friday at the Paradise Jam down in the Virgin Islands.  The tournament is one that the Jays could win if they play like they did on Tuesday.

There is a huge following that made the trip to St. Thomas, but many others are following from afar.

Here are the ways you can keep tabs on the Jays during the Paradise Jam this weekend. We will update before each game. 

  • Friday–Washington St., 7:30 p.m. CST
  • Sunday–NC State, 7:30 p.m. CST
  • Monday–Mississippi, 7:30 p.m. CST

Creighton on TV

For the opening round game, while two of the four games are scheduled for TV, the Jays game vs. Washington State was not one of them.

Since game will not be available through traditional TV, it will be streamed through the Paradise Jam partner FloHoops.  The one caveat is that it will cost fans $20 to stream for the whole tournament.

  • If Creighton loses in the first round against Washington St., then their other two games will be broadcast through this service.
  • Be sure to cancel after the games are over.
  • Another option:  Go to DJ’s Dugout in any of the metro locations and watch the stream.

The remaining games will be shown live on CBS Sports Network. Darren Goldwater (play-by-play), Kevin Lehman (analyst) and Monyka Johnigan (reporter) on the call

Creighton Online

  • The first game will be video streamed through the options mentioned above.  If Creighton loses in the first round that is the option to watch the other two games of the tournament.
  • If Creighton wins their first game–New this season-CBS Sports Network is now streaming through select providers.  If you are a  subscriber of these carriers along with subscribing to the appropriate sports tier, you can watch the game online through CBSSports.com or the CBSSports App.:

Hop on to 1620 AM on your dial before the games for Bluejay Shootaround.

  • If you find yourself in the Omaha metro — you can pick up John Bishop’s play-by-play along with former Bluejay Brody Deren over the air on 1620 the Zone at 1620AM on your dial
  • For the opposing team’s broadcast:

After the games, stay tuned after the 1620 the Zone postgame to catch Bluejay Banter and their “Overtime” postgame show. They will talk to Creighton coaches and others to get the latest on the Bluejays as well as take phone calls.
